This is old news since a few days back, but for those of you who have missed it, Mojang and Notch have now sold over One Million(1kk) copies of Minecraft!

Let's do some fast calculations...

Let's say the first 900,000 copies that were sold were Alpha accounts which you had to pay ~10 euro to get.
900,000 * 10 = 9,000,000
That is Nine million euro.

That would then leave us with 100,000 Beta accounts sold for ~15 euro each.
100,000 * 15 = 1,500,000
That is One point five million euro.

Add those together and we see that Mojang has made over 10 million euro on Minecraft!
